Do I need to make an appointment to try on dresses?
Yes. To offer you an intimate, attentive experience, all our fittings are by appointment only. This allows us to welcome you into a fully private space, free of interruptions.
How long does an appointment last?
Bridal appointments last 1.5 hours on average. For mothers of the bride and groom, bridesmaids or others, appointments run about 1 hour. This gives us time to discuss your needs, try on several styles, and fully enjoy this unique moment, with no pressure.
How many people can I invite with me?
We recommend a maximum of 6 guests to keep a comfortable, intimate atmosphere in our fitting room. It also helps ensure you get honest, caring feedback.
What sample sizes do you offer?
Most of our in-store sample dresses are offered in sizes 8 to 12 to suit a wide range of body types. However, each style can be ordered in a broad range of sizes, depending on the designer’s availability.
What are the prices of your dresses?
Our wedding dresses mainly range from $2,000 to $3,000 (before taxes), with a few styles below or above depending on the collection. For mothers of the bride and groom, bridesmaids and others, prices range from $200 to $1,200 (before taxes).
Do you offer touch-ups?
Yes, we work with an experienced professional seamstress, who will make all the necessary adjustments to ensure that your dress fits your image perfectly. This service is extra, and prices vary according to your needs. You can choose another seamstress without any problem.
When should I start my search?
We recommend starting 9 to 12 months before the wedding. This allows enough time to order your dress, complete alterations, and enjoy the process without stress. For mothers of the bride and groom, bridesmaids and others, 4 to 6 months ahead is ideal.
Can I buy a dress directly at my appointment?
Some dresses are available for immediate purchase, but most must be ordered from the designer. If you’re working with a tight timeline, we’ll do everything we can to help you with the options available in-store.
What types of dresses do you offer?
We select modern, elegant and comfortable dresses, designed mainly in Canada and Australia. Our collection features a variety of silhouettes (A-line, mermaid, princess, and more) designed to flatter every body type, along with lightweight fabrics and styles suited to every personality.
Do you offer accessories?
Yes! We have a refined selection of veils, jewellery, belts, gloves and hair accessories to complete your look with style and cohesion.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance. This allows us to offer that time slot to another bride-to-be.
Do I have to pay for the appointment?
No, all our appointments are free, whether for wedding dress, mother-of-the-bride, bridesmaid or evening wear fittings. We believe every woman deserves a pressure-free fitting experience, in an intimate and welcoming setting.
What should I bring with me to my fitting?
The most important thing is you! But to help you feel even more comfortable, we recommend bringing:
- Nude-coloured underwear (no patterns)
- A strapless bra (if you wear one)
- Shoes of a similar height to those you’ll wear on the big day
- Seamless underwear
- Inspiration or photos of dress styles you’d like to try (you can save them on your phone or create a Pinterest board!). This will help us better understand your taste and suggest the styles that suit you best.
- And most importantly, surround yourself with caring people who will make you feel beautiful and heard.
What happens when I find my dress?
What a magical moment! Once you’ve fallen in love with a dress, we move on to placing the order.
An 80% deposit is required to confirm your dress order with the designer. The balance is payable when the dress arrives in-store. We guide you through every step with transparency and care. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept payment by credit card and debit card. If you have any special needs, feel free to let us know — we’re always happy to help make things easier for you.
Can I borrow a sample dress from a designer?
Yes, it’s sometimes possible to temporarily borrow a sample from select designers for an in-store fitting, when the style you’re interested in isn’t available in our boutique. This is strictly a loan for trying on the dress, not a rental for your wedding day. Let’s talk about it during your appointment, and we’ll see what’s possible depending on the dress and the designer.
Is it possible to speed up the production and delivery of a dress?
For Calla Blanche, plan on 12 to 14 weeks for rush delivery (+$100), or 10 weeks for super-rush (+$250). For Paloma Blanca and Mikaella Bridal, rush delivery takes 10 weeks (+$150), or 6 weeks for super-rush (+$250). For Tania Olsen, plan on 8 to 12 weeks for rush delivery (+$50): the actual timeline depends on grouped shipments from Australia, if a shipment to Canada is already scheduled, your order can be added to it and arrive quickly, otherwise the brand sometimes waits until the end of the month to group shipments together. For Jane Hill, rush delivery takes 12 weeks for $400 USD (about $550 CAD), or 8 weeks for $500 USD (about $700 CAD).
For styles already in stock at Tania Olsen, Montage, Cameron Blake, and Ivonne D., rush delivery can range from 1 week to 1 month, at no extra cost. Montage, Cameron Blake, and Ivonne D. are especially fast, you’ll generally receive the dress within a week. Feel free to ask us for the exact timeline for the style you’re interested in during your appointment.
Do your dresses suit all body types?
Yes, this is a priority for us. Our designers offer silhouettes designed to flatter a wide range of body types, and most styles are available in a broad range of sizes, with customization options depending on the designer. During your appointment, we take the time to understand your body shape and needs to guide you toward the dresses and cuts that will flatter you most.
